Had a short convo with a friend. He mentioned that he wondered what could possibly convince people that animals are worth more than humans.
My answer? Was so that they could use animals as an excuse to ignore people. Animals cannot complain. Animals cannot tell you…
“Many veg*ns advocate fair and equal treatment of animals, but ignore the awful labor conditions of people who grow and pick their fruits and vegetables.”
This neglects the fact that in order to produce a serving of meat, many times more servings of plants need to be harvested and fed to these animals. To eat meat is to support the unfair trades of the agriculture business as much as 18 fold.
